Meet Boots
Boots is a 10-month-old Lhasa Apso mix who is completely blind and deaf. This sweet little boy won the hearts of everyone he met, leaping into their laps and wagging his fluffy tail. We figured Boots would need some help finding the right home, but we knew his perfect guardian was out there and we weren't going to quit until they found each other.
Well, after just eight days in adoption at our Milwaukee Campus, we were ecstatic when Boots found his match! Sandy and Jim, his new parents, knew from the moment they saw him that their family was about to get a little bigger. Boots now spends his days running around the backyard, getting homemade treats, and snoozing in bed with Sandy's daughter, Crystal. There's nothing we love more than seeing our alumni happy and loved by their new families!
In hopes of inspiring more fantastic adoptions like Boots', we're highlighting a few other extraordinary dogs who are in search of loving homes! Thanks to our amazing community and generous supporters, all adoptable animals at WHS have as long as it takes to find a great family.
