A Lifesaving
Story
Dear
Friend,
One
look at Butch and you could tell that he was one
unhappy camper. Maybe his eyes were full of
light and sparkle at one time, but what we saw was
dark and despairing. The smile that could
easily strike his face wasn't there and it is obvious
he has had better days.
The
moment Butch arrived at the Ozaukee Campus,
staff knew they had work to do. A medical
examination determined that the dog was healthy,
but was suffering from a broken heart. Poor
Butch was shuffled from place to place, without
a home to call his own.
Thanks
to generous people like you, staff were able
to keep the 4-year-old Akita healthy and help him
become happy by providing tons of tender loving
care. Butch's extended stay turned
his personality around. Once sad and lonely,
his personality became one of a happy go-lucky dog
with a constant smile on his face. His eyes
now sparkle with enthusiasm and confidence.
We
are happy to report that after three months at the
Ozaukee Campus, Butch has found his loving
home. And your support helped to turn his
life around and give him a second chance at life.
We
hope you will make
a gift today so that other animals like
Butch can enjoy sunny days for years to come.
We will use your gift to provide animals with lifesaving
medical care, spay and neuter services, nutritious
food, a comfortable bed and plenty of tender loving
care. Beyond that, your gift enables the Ozaukee
Campus to work to build a kinder, more humane
community from which we all benefit.
On
behalf of Butch, thank you for considering a gift
to the Ozaukee Campus. With the financial
support of caring folks like you, we can continue
to save the lives of animals.
With
gratitude,
The Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus
