Four Kittens Rescued from Blazing Fire
Grafton barn burns to ground, mom still missing

Grafton, WisFour kittens were rescued today from a local barn fire and they are estimated to be around three weeks old. A stable worker brought them to the Ozaukee Humane Society after fire fighters rescued them from the blaze. A fifth kitten perished in the fire and the mother has not been found.

The Flying S Ranch is located in the town of Grafton and apparently it was nearly entirely destroyed. No horses were injured in the fire. Dr. Randy Zeman will evaluate the kittens’ medical conditions and they will likely be placed in foster care until they are old enough for adoption.

Interview/Photo Op: The kittens will be available for filming between 5:00-6:00pm today. Matt Witte, Operations Manager, will be available for interviews.
