Simba's
“Tail”
A
tail with a happy ending
GRAFTON,
Wis. – Simba arrived at the Ozaukee Humane
Society as a stray. Someone in the Village
of Grafton had trapped and brought him to OHS at
the end of April. Poor Simba looked so fearful.
His limp tail – matted and mangled beyond belief
– was close to falling off. It was obvious
Simba had experience some sort or trauma.
His tail might have been trapped in a door; it is
anyone's guess as to what poor, fragile Simba endured.
Luckily,
for Simba, the caring team at OHS knew just how
to help. After a careful exam, Simba was slated
for surgery to remove his fractured tail.
Not only did Simba receive immediate medical attention,
he also got the tests, medicine, plenty of nutritious
food and fresh water as well as extra TLC.
All
the cats who arrive at the Ozaukee Humane Society
get special attention and Simba was no exception.
After receiving very specialized surgery, he received
plenty of love and affection.
May
27 he will receive a clean bill of health and be
placed in adoption with a guardian who understands
his “tail” and is willing to give him the loving
home that he deserves.
